Campus Principal’s Message

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

How time flies! It seems not too long ago I was just starting my role as Principal of the Sunshine, Ibrahim Dellal Campus. And what a year it has been! I am sure you would have noticed the many upgrades that have been made on the school grounds, and who can ignore the beautiful and massive new structure that is our new building? This would not have been made possible without the support and hard work of our staff and the whole school community, so you have my deepest gratitude.

As we reflect on the past year, I have many pleasant memories of the various events that have helped to define the year 2018. Events such as the Twilight Cinema, the Parent Iftar Dinner, the Eid Festival, the Primary Concert, the Secondary Exhibition and Awards Night the Athletics Carnival and the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony - these were among the main highlights of the year.

With the successful completion of each of those events, I am heartened always to discover the dedication and team spirit that is so apparent at this campus. It reinforces my belief that we will achieve a great many things here. We are driven to do the best for our school community and to enhance the learning journey of all those who pass through our gates. I am so proud to be a part of this community.

So let us all rejoice on the completion of another school year. I believe every single one of us - student, parent, teacher and staff member - has worked extremely hard to make 2018 a successful year and we have all earned a well-deserved break.

Have a good rest everyone, and may we all come back refreshed for the 2019 school year that beckons us now with promises of a better tomorrow.

When we open our gates in January 2019 we will greet and welcome you from our brand new reception area.
